Deprecated tags

I’m very unsatisfied with the lastest version of the plugin.

My site has many deprecated tags — {adinserter n} — for manual insertion. They don’t work anymore. Now they show the tag, and not a banner, to the visitor.

Adinserter recommends the Search Regex plugin to replace tags, but I didn’t work for me. It shows no post with the deprecated tag when I search.

Why did the plugin author do that?
