Description and ACF

    We are experiencing an issue with the podcast text on our website. The episode descriptions are created using custom ACF fields, and because of this, the content is not being reflected in the podcast description feed.

    As a result, the episode descriptions do not appear on external podcast platforms, such as Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and other podcast directories.

    The audio files are being published correctly, but the descriptive text entered in the custom ACF fields is not being passed to the podcast feed (RSS), so these platforms are not able to display the episode descriptions.

    We would need the content from the ACF fields to be properly mapped and included in the podcast feed description so that it is correctly shown across all podcast platforms.

    Please let us know the best way to resolve this or if additional configuration is required.

    Hi @elcaminopeople,
    Did you try to manually duplicate the description from your ACF field content to the episode description?
    Another option – you can use ssp_feed_item_description filter to dynamically change the episode description using your ACF field content.
