Would like to update you that we did have the provision to show the same description and short description fields in Smart Manager, however, we had removed the same on request of majority of our customers.
Further, if you would like to have the same fields shown in Smart Manager then we can surely do enable the same fields for you and help you with the same changes. However, you would need to maintain the same changes before updating to any newer version of Smart Manager as we would not be including the same changes in the plugin.
