    Hi there,

I just installed the plugin and created my first feed, and it seems everything is working as it should, except that the plugin doesn’t seem to fetch my product descriptions.

I’ve tried selecting all of the available description-related alternatives on the mapping page, but none of them fetch any information whatsoever.

We’re using Divi with Woocommerce. And we’ve got information in both the short description field, and in the main description field of all of our products.

Here’s a direct example of one of the products in our store:

What am I doing wrong here?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi Chris,

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

It sounds like you did nothing wrong. When you have saved your product descriptions in either the normal description input field or the short description field than our plugin should have no problem fetching that data for your feed(s).

Either one of these mappings really should work:

Are you perhaps using a caching plugin or doing some server side caching which is caching an old version of your feed?

    Hi there,

I’ve tried all mappings relating to the ‘description’ field at this point, but none of them seem to fetch.
I am using caching through WP Rocket. However, even clearing the cache doesn’t seem to resolve the error.

While troubleshooting I did try to re-create the error with a different plugin, but that one seems to fetch the description without any issues. However, I prefer this one for structural/layout reasons, so I would prefer getting this one to work.

    Hi,

Pretty much all of our 100.000 users fetch their product descriptions using our plugin so I am pretty sure something must have gone wrong in the configuration of your feed.

Can you share the following with us:

Assuming the issue at hand has been resolved and our support is no longer required I am going to close this topic for housekeeping reasons now.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to us whenever you need our help again.
