    1. The description has some transparent black background to see part of the image.

    It is so ugly looking. It ruins the view of images.

    Any way to get the description on the sides of the images, and not on top of the image with some transparent black background?

    2. On “Slideshow” display type, can the filmstrip/thumbnails be on side (left or right). Right now its at the top of the image.

    That spot should occupy the description or title, instead of taking up too much vertical space of lightbox, while sides are empty.

    Hi, @inquad0a!

    Thanks for posting your questions!

    1. Is the appearance of title/description on lightbox the part you need to change? If so, you can set the image to appear on the left, and the info on the right.

    Make sure to set the lightbox view to Full Width from shortcode options. Then add the following CSS code to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS:

    .bwg_popup_image_spun2 {
       text-align: left !important;
       padding-left: 20px;
    }

    Let me know if you like this display.

    2. The position of filmstrip can be changed, surely. Please go to Photo Gallery > Themes, open the theme you use on your gallery and navigate to Slideshow tab. Find Filmstrip/Slider bullet position option and set it to Left or Right.

    Feel free to ask further questions.
    Thank you! Have a wonderful day!
