This is a private, members only site, PHP 8.3, Apache 2.4.65. We’re using SC with Google Calendar, everything is up to date and works apart from this issue.

When I try to use the limit attribute with the description tag like this:

    [description limit=”5″]

the event description is not displayed. I’ve tried different digits, w and w/o quotes. In addition it seems when what precedes this line is in bold, that isn’t closed, so everything that follows on the page is in bold.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there,

About the query here, I have tested the attribute and it does seem to work on my end. Kindly ensure that you click on the “code” section within the WordPress editor, and ensure that you add the attribute as illustrated here: https://prnt.sc/tZZJiMPabRJm .

Let us know if this helps.

    Kind Regards

Thanks. After finding the missing text in the page source I’ve now tracked down the problem to custom CSS code having unintended consequences. Sorry for wasting your time and thanks again.
