designexo child theme has missing “Frontpage Sections”
-
Hi,
After creating the child theme, the “Frontpage Sections” option does not appear. Is there something which i am missing? I found a similar issue in this thread.
Thank you.
Best regards.-

Hi smithacalm
Thanks for contacting us. Don’t worry we are here to help you.
Yes, We’ll add this child theme support in the “Arile Extra” plugin in 1 to 2 days as well. Then you have to update the latest version of the plugin and you will get the front page as per the requirement.
Thanks

Hi, the frontpage is already selected as homepage from template dropdown menu. When I activate the child theme, the homepage is there but it doesn’t display the frontpage sections content on the homepage and the “frontpage Sections” is missing from the Customizer? So unfortunately it hasn’t worked.
Hi cheesecakejake76
Okay, Please share your site URL, we have to inspect this issue and provide you good assistance.
Thanks
Hi, sorry for the delay in responding. I have decided that a child theme is not strictly necessary, as I don’t need that many changes to be made. I have updated the Designexo theme so I have lost some of the changes I had made in CCS. I would really appreciate it if you could tel me how to change the colour of the links from the default yellow colour to a green (#0b9444) and also I can’t link the slideshow buttons to a different frontpage section? I hoe you can help me with this? Thank you.
Sorry the URL is http://www.harpjoinery.co.uk
Hi cheesecakejake76
We have checked your site it’s all working fine. You have already changed the theme color to green on your site. And also the slider button works perfectly.
Please let us know if you need more assistance.
Thanks

ThemeArileHi,
I have the same problem as @smithacalm.
It’s resolved after changing Theme Name to ‘Designexo Child Theme‘.
However, the styling is not fully inherited from the parent theme?
Font family is one of it.
Anyone can advice?
Thanks.Elaine.
