No, sorry, I’m not aware of a desktop client that can be used for updating TablePress tables.
The closest that it gets is probably to edit a table e.g. in Excel or Numbers, and then save it as a CSV file, which can then again be imported into TablePress.

made me think that our service together with plugin I developed could be a solution.
Our plugin (actually two, but doing the same thing two different ways) connects WordPress site with our service that provides tools for online publishing excel sheets and access tables (directly, without importing data to some SQL database), as well as for collecting data from web site visitors, and admin tool for CRUD operations.

Plugins are free, service has useful free plan as well as paid plans.
