Desktop Publishing tool

    Hi – I am new to WordPress and starting my first site – more later. Is there a desktop tool that I can use to publish posts – WYSIWYG is preferable. I tried Window’s Live Write but it sucks big time.

    These are great tools and I downloaded and tried a few over the last hour or so. The one that looks the most promising is WB Editor as it actually shows you the WordPress template…………however when I try and insert a picture it crashes – I guess it won;t work properly on Windows 7 – darn it!! And the support forums are also stale – don’t think this editor has has an update since 2008 or so.

    The next best is Blogdesk – it also takes the template width into account so it OK.

    Anyone got an opinion on the BEST one? I don;t mind paying a little for it.
