Desktop version on mobile

For a while now on my iPhone 12 I will get at times the mobile version of the home page and at other times the desktop version. It is mostly the desktop version. I have asked others to do the same and it occurs as well to them, even on Adroid. This occurs on Safari, Google app, and Google Chrome app. It will change out within minutes of each other. My theme author has worked on trying to fix this including downloading your suggested cache plugin. It may work for a day then reverts back. We have tried all we can think of now are reaching out here. Thank you.

you need a caching system that distinguishes between desktop and mobile.

We do have such caching plugin installed. The plugin is called Cache Enabler. Within the settings, we have checked “Create a cached version for mobile devices”.

Do you have a CDN?
If you have a full-page cache with a CDN it has to distinguish between mobile and desktop. The same if the server provides a layer of cache before Cache Enabler

I realize now that on your page the content is loaded on scrolling via ajax.
Specific Content For Mobile doesn’t replace any content during ajax requests, only on normal page loads.

But you can change this behavior by adding this code to the functions.php of your child theme if any, or in a functional plugin:
```
if( wp_doing_ajax() && function_exists( 'eos_scfm_post_content_replacement' ) ){
	add_action( 'template_redirect','eos_scfm_post_content_replacement' );
}
```
