Destroyed umlauts after activating W3 Total Cache

    Hi,

    after activating Total Cache, the German umlauts (äöü) are no longer displayed correctly (ä=ä, ö = ö, ü = ü). I found several notes about this issue but no solution – apart from the hint to deactivate the plugin.

    I enabled all caching types but not CDN and monitoring. The charset of the site ist set to UTF-8.
