Detect problem with checkout

I recently noticed some slowdown at the end of the checkout.
First i thought was due the plugin i’ve made that add custom fields but now i think is something different.

Is there a way to record the checkout fail? Like all the people who add something to the cart and then do not procede to the checkout?
