Developer Question: How To Get Plugin Status?

I need to find out if my plugin is set (by user and WP or E.U.M.) to be automatically updated. I have found how to do it for WordPress updater, and now I want to extend that support to E.U.M.

Do you have some public function that takes plugin slug and returns some kind of plugin update status/data? Or any other accessible way? Options API?
