Hi @stephanwiesner,
Thanks for letting us know. This looks related to the DHL change from June 2026 DHL updated how they check account logins, which can cause an authorization error even when your own details haven’t changed.
Could you try this first:
- Open the plugin’s DHL settings.
- Re-type your DHL username and password (please type them fresh).
- Save, then try creating a label again.
If it still doesn’t work, just reply here and we’ll look into it further with you.
Best regards,
Thanks for getting back so fast. That did not help. I even created a new user, still getting the authentication error.
Hi @stephanwiesner,
Thanks for testing that. Since re-saving and even a new user gave the same error, the issue is with how your account connects to DHL’s API not your password or our plugin (it’s working fine for other users).
One question: the other plugin that still works do you know if it connects to DHL using the older SOAP API?
To check your exact case, could you email us your DHL log?
You can find it here: WooCommerce → Status → Logs → select the DHL log → Download
dhlsupport [at] progressus.io
Once we see what DHL is returning, we can tell you exactly what’s being rejected.
Best regards,
thanks, I have emailed you the log files 🙂
