    Downloaded and activated this into wp 4.2.2 with twentytwelve theme. The plugin works okay and the support from the author has been fantastic but I’ve had problems using the Feedly mobile app and Feedly browser to view the RSS feed.

    Feedly provides a feed overview in a “cards” or “magazine” style format and the featured images were not appearing in the overview, or appearing a long time after the post. Also, because of the way Feedly works, the plugin’s image size or image position options had no effect so I was unable to assess these, apart from wondering why there wasn’t a “full” option or what “post-thumbnail” was under the image size setting!

    Are you sure? 🙂 Uh-oh, let me look into it, it’s working on sites as far as I know. I just had a site the other day that had server-side caching, and the images only showed up after the cache was cleared.

    And you can see from the other reviews, it’s working just fine in WP 4.2.2. Let’s figure out what’s going on.

    Okay, I don’t understand what is happening here.

    Initially, I started this exercise by copying code into functions.php. This worked but I was unhappy using unattributed code I didn’t understand. So, I downloaded this plugin and added a new post. When the post eventually appeared in Feedly I saw the post but no image and I wrote the first feedback.

    I then deactivated this plugin and installed another and added a new post. Now, whilst I’m waiting for the latest post to arrive I see the “missing” image appear. I do a refresh and it appears again but only after quite a delay. The image full size is only 168×112 pixels.

    Now, I do not know if the “missing” image was there all along and I was too impatient or, when I click “refresh”, the posts are downloaded again and the image is coming from the later plugin.

    What do you think?

    FYI, I’ve just emptied the browser cache and the image appears 4 seconds after the post.

    Can you email me the website URL and it’s feed URL? I can view the raw feed (not in feedly) and see if the image is there or not. Why it’s loading slow, I have no idea, but let me take a look.

    Okay, I’m satified that the plugin works, the image is being sent to RSS. The problem is with Feedly which has been taking an additional hour to show the featured image. So for the first hour or so you think the plugin isn’t working.

    How do I change the rating?
