Hello @partho8181,
Thank you for reaching out, and we’re sorry for the trouble you’ve experienced.
The 404 error indicates that the URLs are not being accepted into Google’s Indexing API. This API is officially intended only for job postings and live streams, and due to Google’s stricter spam detection policies, it has become much harder to use it for other types of content.
Because of this, submissions may appear successful, but Google can still reject them if they don’t meet the API’s specific guidelines. Unless you have one of the website types we mentioned and the content is unique, you won’t be able to use this feature consistently, and you shouldn’t, as the API was never intended for it. This is also mentioned in our own documentation.
You can review Google’s official guidelines here for more details: https://developers.google.com/search/apis/indexing-api/v3/quickstart
We understand how frustrating this can be. While the Indexing API may not work consistently for most websites, your pages can still be indexed through normal crawling and indexing methods.
We hope this clarifies things, and please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any further questions.
