@blakemiller,
Send mail with credentials and other data is our email
Deactivate WP Automatic email when user is created the one generated by WordPress
Thank you! I appreciate the clarification.
I’d like to make a recommendation to adjust the the language of that select box to read:
Do you wish to send a custom email from ACUI with credentials and other data? (Email template found here /tools.php?page=acui&tab=mail-options)
Also, the fact that you have a single select box (true/false) to turn on/off one function in one area, and a dropdown to enable/disable a similar function in a totally different area increases the possibility of confusion.
Or, maybe better – include the WordPress email functions in that same “send mail” area on the main import screen using the simple checkbox approach.
My associate accidentally misunderstood the meaning of “send email” and when importing 500+ users, they all received an ACUI email that wasn’t relevant. She thought it was the wordpress email which we have customized via Better Notifications with different information found in the default ACUI template.
We use the plugin over and over many times on a single website as we import users over time leading up to live events. We find ourselves constantly going back and forth to confirm the different settings.
Thank you for considering.
Thanks for your suggestions. I have included it here 🙂
Only one thing I have changed “ACUI” to “this plugin” in the label.
Update to the last version to get it done.
Javier! Thank you very much for incorporating this. It’s very helpful and helps clarify what does what 🙂
Thanks to you for the suggestion!!
