When I’m asking the chatbot questions WITHIN the plugin, I get great responses, it sends the correct links, etc. But when I try it on our website, in a live state, it does not provide the same valuable responses. Most of the time, it doesn’t give good answers at all and it sends the wrong links/URLs 99 times out of 100. Why is this? At the moment we have hidden the chatbot from live users since I cannot confirm that it will provide the answers that I myself can see when I test the chatbot inside the plugin.

    Hey @fannykamph ! 👋

If you are using any cache or JavaScript optimization plugins, it’s possible that the old values of the default configuration for the chatbot are being used when sending queries, which could explain the different behavior. Please disable any other plugins to ensure that this is not a compatibility issue.

If not, please share more details with me, such as how you are instantiating your chatbot on the live website. 😊

    Hi,

I disabled all forms of caching before testing again. I also re-synced my embeddings after this.

Still, the chatbot gives me different answers when I test it inside the plugin compared to the chatbot on the live site.

The big issue here is that the chatbot inside the plugin works well and send the right URLs and links. It’s a shame that the live chatbot can’t provide the same information.

Are there any other known errors that can affect this?

    Hi,

I still need assistance with this. Do I need to make a new post?
