    I’m confused the password for the WP-admin is this the same as the password for the database used by WP .. ?

    Well, they are not, any host in the world don’t make that mistake
    .
    WordPress uses normally one admin couple of things for Wp-admin, but it’s not the one for the database. Any serious host provides you different logins, url so on for the database.

    If you’re the actual provider (vps for example as both webserver and database host) it’s up to you to make your different passes so on.. But it’s 2 separate ports on server and very separate things : 1) the webserver 2) the database server (most generally mysql)
