Different background on mobile devices

    Hello!
    Due to my background-image is very big, it is still not correctly displayed on mobile devices. I would like that mobile devices with a max-width:768px just display a background-color and not the image.

    I already tried:
    @media(max-widht:786px)
    background-color: #F8E7A5;

    but it is not working!
    Can anyone help me?
