    Hi RavanH!

Your plugin is perfect for a site that I’m working on. But I can’t get it to work. No mark tags are generated in my views when search results are presented.

The theme I’m using generates a number of divs inside the divs with class .hentry.

I’ve tried to add the classes of the children in .hentry to the array of classes & IDs in hlst.php, but it still doesn’t work.

I’ve also added CSS for the .hilite class.

Got any ideas on how to make it work?

Hi, there might be a (related or unrelated) script error occurring that blocks the highlight script from working correctly. Can you share a link to your site so I can see and debug it live?

Unfortunately there is no public access to the site. Can I perhaps send you screenshots via a channel of your choice?

No screenshots are not what I need. I need to see if there are any related errors reported in the browser script console to be able to tell more…

What you can do is this: disable all other plugins and test again. If the highlights start showing, you can enable each plugin one by one to find out which one is causing the conflict.

If disabling all other plugins does not help, then switch to one of the default themes (Twenty Seventeen should be fine) and if it starts working then, it must be a problem with the theme.

    Let me know 🙂
