Hello,

I am trying to find the best plugin for my marketplace website. Ideally, I want to create two different shortcodes, one for “guest” registration and the other for “owner registration.

I noticed your add-on feature has this option: “Assign specific user roles to the newly registered users who use any social login provider. (You can set different roles for each provider.)” So wanted to check if this is possible.

I am sorry, currently we don’t have a “role” parameter for the shortcode, but it is already on our To Do list to create such functionality.
Anyway with some custom coding you are able to achieve your goals, since the shortcode has a “trackerdata” parameter – https://nextendweb.com/nextend-social-login-docs/theme-developer/#shortcode
So by using the trackerdata feature, you could retrieve the url of the page the user registered at, then write a custom PHP code to update the role of the user, when the registration happens from a certain URL.

Please note that we can not provide support for custom coding, but we have a code sample for the basic usage of tracker data:

so you just need to modify that slightly, to make it update the role of the user:

As for your question related to “Default roles for user who registered with this provider”
I am sorry, that feature won’t work that way you need, since it affects the role of all the users who register with that provider.
However please note the “Default roles for user who registered with this provider” is a feature that only available in the Pro Addon, and on this forum we are only allowed to provide support for the Free version.
