    Hi,

I just recently made the switch from wordpress.com to ww.wp.xz.cn so that I could make use of the Kale theme and I love it! It looks so professional, and was exactly what I was looking for in terms of aesthetics and layout. I am in the customization phase, and one of the things I am struggling with, is how to force the post to show the entire featured image when showing the excerpt of the blog post in the grid format.

For some reason, when I migrated from wordpress.com to .org, the blog posts display the full featured image. But the new blog posts I have created on ww.wp.xz.cn show a chopped version of the featured image for the blog post. An example of this, is on the homepage in the featured posts section. The images for the tea and the granola bars are cropped and the one for the soup is showing the full image.

    Thanks!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

@thepanickedfoodie Thanks for the kind words and for trying out Kale. We appreciate it.

The theme crops all images to 760×400. The best way to preserve your images is to upload them in a similar aspect ratio so that not a lot of the image is lost in the resizing/cropping.

However, if you would like to change the default image size – we recommend this plugin: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/simple-image-sizes/

Please install and activate it and then change the thumbnail size to what you prefer.

After doing that, I do suggest regenerating all thumbnails so that they all show up uniformly across the website.
