Different tax rules

    Hello,

    I was going to buy this premium plugin when doing some research I found about it not being able to handle different tax rules: http://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/marketpress-calculate-sales-tax

    What is the state of this as of now? It seems to be a long standing demand, and I would really hate not being able to use MarketPress because of this. It is a must for many shops in Europe where we have to apply different taxes for different country’s regions or in order to sell to other countries. We also need to define different taxes for different types of products (e.g. food taxes are lower than perfume’s).

    Is there any plugin/solution for this that doesn’t involve manual hacks? It would amaze me if ,as fully featured as MarketPress is, there still wasn’t anything solid to solve this.

    Hi there,

    I know this is planned, but it’s quite a big change to the plugin so I can’t say when this will be added I’m afraid, hopefully it will be soon!

    Hello Mike and thank you very much for answering,

    What a shame, the other functionalities of MarketPress really appealed me, but unfortunately I have no option about the taxes thing.

    Yeah we are trying to add as many features as we can, the developers have a lot to do so they add the features as quickly as they can in the order they think they are most wanted.

    Hopefully it won’t be too long.
