Different WP version on staging site

    Hi,

    I was wondering if I can get a different WP’s version on the staging site.

    I need to update WP to 5.5.3 but I know it will break some plugins, that’s why I’m interested by this plugin if I can let my old WP version on my production site and update to 5.5.3 on my staging site.

    Hi there!
    Yes, for sure you can do that. Having another WordPress version on the staging site is one of the reasons this plugin was created for.

    So after you test the plugins on the staging site with the new WordPress version, you can update WordPress on the live site.
