Difficulty Uploading Images into Library

    Though I have read several posts on this topic and have tried several solutions, none have worked.

    My issue: though the ‘Upload New Image’ function progresses, nothing is ever truly uploaded. The nameplace appears but no image.

    What I’ve tried…

    1. Adding mod_rewrite code to .htaccess file
    2. Changing Upload directory
    3. CHMOD 777 on wp-content and images folder
    4. Re-installed wordpress and copied back-in upload folder
    5. Deleted cache folder

    Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    I never did figure this out, I just created a new DB and WP install and now all is fine.
