Direct api tracking

    Is it possible to track visitors from the PHP directly calling the Piwik Api? I thought I saw the option long time ago, but I can’t find it anymore.

    WP-Piwik uses the Reporting API and is able to communicate with Piwik using REST (HTTP) or by including the necessary PHP files (PHP mode).

    But this is different from using the PHP Tracking API which is not supported by WP-Piwik.
