    hi there.
    I am trying to use the “manual opening of boxes” to enable users to display the box with an anchor url: eg: http://localhost/kontakt/#boxzilla-8295

    i am successfully displaying the box upon a button click by using the url “#boxzilla-8295”. However using the full URl by typing it in the browser does not open the popup.

    I am using the box to host a mailchimp form, and i’d love to provide a signup link that loads the main page, but directly opens the box (only if i used the signup link).

    Hi,

    I’m afraid I can’t look into the problem because your website is not online yet. I would like to see the live version and run some tests. The link should work if you type it in the browser as well. But if you already opened the box and closed it it might not pop up again.

    You might consider using the javascript trigger, it gives you a little more control, but obviously you need to know a bit of javascript to work with that.

    Also, you may want to test with a box with just some plain text to make sure it has nothing to do with the code inside the box. If it does, switch to our plugin “MailChimp for WordPress”, it works well with Boxzilla.
