• Just need a bit of help and advice please.
I had an old website (created on old web design software) running perfectly on my hosting and to get to it users typed
    https://xxxxxx.co.uk/

I then decided to create a new WordPress site and installed WordPress in a sub directory TempDir so I could develop it and let the client see the work so far.
    https://xxxxxx.co.uk/TempDir/

I then deleted all the old files and pointed to the https://xxxxxx.co.uk/TempDir/ and it has gone live and is working ok.

    I simply added a re-direct on my hosting from http://www.xxxxxx.co.uk to https://xxxxxx.co.uk/TempDir/

Is there any way back to the root directory or do I just leave it as it is?

Of course I should have asked the question before I did all of this but any help would be appreciated. As I have other old sites this will crop up again especially as WP is so impressive compared to my older sites.

    Alexander
