    Hi guys,
    I am planning to run a website for my area, it will include English speaking professionals/services.
    I am targeting mostly people with slow internet connections – students that will use their mobiles mostly with 3g and want to find something fast, on the go.
    (barber shops, washing clothes services etc)
    Can someone please recommend a me solution? i checked some directory themes but they are “airbnb/restaurant” oriented and not matching my case.
    P.S. would be nice to have some map with pins

    Themes are a matter of taste. Themes provide a look and feel not functionality. Find a theme you like the look of, ignore the content (words and images) as it is not yours.

    For the functionality, look for a good classifieds plugin, they usually have the functionality you explained.

    A map with pins is functionality, you can easily find a plugin that uses Google Maps API.
