    Hello AMP, I want to know if AMP enabled amp-analytics, amp-carousel, amp-iframe, amp-mustache, . amp-sidebar, amp-social-share, amp-video, amp-youtube, amp-fit-text, amp-image-lightbox, amp-instagram etc by default. If YES how can I disable all of the AMP scripts I don’t use except amp-form.js

    Hi @thisterm,

The AMP plugin automatically adds necessary scripts to your AMP pages when it identifies AMP components being used. This ensures your pages are optimized for AMP and can be displayed correctly in search results.

WordPress’s core features, including certain embeds, are automatically converted to AMP-compatible versions by the plugin. Deactivating this conversion will result in an invalid AMP page, causing validation errors in Google Search Console. This can negatively impact your search engine rankings, defeating the purpose of using AMP.

We strongly advise against removing the AMP plugin’s scripts.

    We hope this helps!

I am clear on the AMP scripts removal, but why am I seeing different or should I say old username appear as author for posts on Google News. I am the sole writer on the site with the author name Okyere Darko but I sometimes see Kofi Okyere Darko or Okyere Darko George but not the Okyere Darko which has been the author name for the past months. Please check screenshot link https://snipboard.io/1sK6V5.jpg

Let me add that this only happen when AMP is enabled, when AMP is disabled the author name does not show below post on Google News.

    Hello @thisterm

In case you have used those names before, the googlebots need to recrwal your site to update the information and make need some time to update.

I found one more reference on our About Page where you have used a different name.
