    Hi,

How do you disable auto-width in poster board ?

I’m thinking about the feature that divides page width so that events take the full width.

What’s more, that feature really bugs here if I have 30 events : it divides the width by 30, which gives like 35px per events, and that’s not pretty… It doesn’t even line breaks every 4 events.

    Thanks

  • Hello,

You can specify the width of the events in Posterboard view in the settings, that way you can determine the full width, please go to Dashboard -> Events -> Settings -> Add-ons -> Extended Views -> Posterboard tile minimum width.

Okay thanks a lot! Works now.

Anyway, maybe it should be good idea not to put “10px” as default minimum event width, as it was, because it leads to a very bug-like display…

Is there no way to disable auto-width? It takes 10 seconds to adjust and I prefer the before-adjusting display…

I tried to change the JS file but it’s minified so it’s very hard to change and debug.

    Thanks again

We have made changes to the way PB builds for an upcoming release and it calculates the layout much more quickly. Hopefully this cuts down on your load time, although if it is truly 10 seconds, that is highly excessive. Perhaps there is another issue causing a slow load…

That’s nice, but actually my first question was : is it possible to simply disable it?

If you deactivate masonry js Posterboard view will not work as it should, so it would be best to wait for the next upgrade.

    Take care,
    Benjamin
