Disable automatic embed function not working.

I disable embeds from the code cleaning menu of Clearfy and save.
I open a different browser and create a new post.
I paste a link to a twitter post and the link becomes an embedded image.

I have tried cleaning my cache, tried disabling, uninstalling and reinstalling Clearfy, tried disabling any other plugins that I think might interfere with Cleafy and yet I can not get this one function to work.

It’s confusing that the WordPress developers would not have thought to have the option to disable embeds right in their software since it’s a new feature that not everyone would want.

I appreciate any advice or input on how to disable embeds using Clearfy.
