Disable Bot verification

    Is it possible to disable the process that verifies if request comes from a bot?
    It is calling gethostbyaddr() on isIp_AppleBot() method, which fails on certain IPs to resolve the host. This may cause higher response time in some cases.

    Are you saying that when a legitimate Apple Bot accesses your site, looking up its IP is failing?

    Nope, I haven’t said that.
    For some reason, once a while, my server fails to resolve the host from IP.
    This results in huge response times.

    This bug was fixed in the latest released then.
