• Hello all,

I am using qtranslate & qt-x for some time now in several websites. Now i have an issue that forces me to disable and cleanup one of the 2 current languages. I need to know for sure what steps i need to perform in order not to break my website.
I presume i have to deactivate the unwanted language from the plugins settings.
However i understand that the language shortcodes [:en] will still remain in my database, which is something i dont want at all to happen.

Is there a simple and clean way to completely disable one language and cleanup all its shortcodes from the database?

And furthermore, if only one language is active, is there a way not to have the shortcodes in the database or it is something that comes along with qtranslate’s core functionality?

    I appreciate all the help!

    thank you

This is already an old plugin, just like qtranslate x, I have cleaned my site and database with this in the past:

But always make a backup first!!

    Good luck

    Hi, terry789

    thank you for your response.

as i am viewing other reviews of this plugin, i can see that in many cases it didnèt work, resulting breaking their websites..

can you please tell me a little more about how you used it succesfully?

the website that i want to perform this is a woocommerce e-store, so the plugin has to work smoothly also for the woocommerce database.

did you do it on a woocommerce-based shop or just a simple wordpress?

    thanks
