I have comments disabled on my site. So I would prefer to not have a button to leave a comment inside the new post notification emails sent to subscribers.

How can I disable that?

I tried to reproduce this, but couldn’t the subscription moduel obeyed my Discussion settings. See these screenshots:

Are you certain that you turned off Comments in Settings -> Discussions?

I had disabled them, but I think another user might have re-enabled them. Thanks for your help. I will test this out again.
