• Hi,

It would be nice if we can have an option to disable caching to database all together to reduce overhead. Adding all those tracking details to the database is redundant and creates an overhead over an already pretty pretty heavy WooCommerce website.

This might not be a big problem for stores with few products, but when there are thousands, this creates a huge overload for a little to no gain really.

Adding a simple no cache option might reduce a lot of unnecessary queries : )

  • Hi,

Thank you for your suggestion. Please make clear 2 things:

    1. Queries that our plugin uses only run when a customer tracks their order on the tracking page. How does it affect your site? Do you use any tool to measure it?

    2. If you don’t add store tracking details to the database, so every time a customer enter a tracking number to track, our plugin will request tracking details from tracking service and show it to customer no matter the tracking number exists any orders or not, right?

    Best regards
