Disable Default Author Box

I want to manually add the Simple Author Box shortcode to posts like I’ve done here, https://chooseprivacyeveryday.org/working-privacy-into-practice/.
But when I add content to the users bio, the default wordpress author box also appears and I can’t find the place to disable it.
I’ve looked through the widgets and the theme options. Any help would be great
