• Hi,

Does anyone know if it’s possible to disable a few options in a drop down menu? Due to Covid-19 my client needs to disable a few options as they’re unable to open in specific areas due to lockdown.

Currently the select options look like this.

    [select* your-area include_blank “Area 1” “Area 2” “Area 3” “Area 4” “Area 5” “Home Visit”]

I did try this but it never worked for me -https://stackoverflow.com/questions/46847969/disable-one-option-from-the-multiple-options-of-the-select

    Any help would be great.

    Thanks

    Matt

  • Understandable.

What excact is the use case?

Do you want to have the content of a drop down depending on the clients location?

This you can do by using the plugin ‘Contact Form 7 Conditional Fields’. The client has to select a value before than and the conditional logic shpows what you want to show in the drop down menue.

    Hi,

Thanks for coming back to me 🙂

What would need to be done is all options to still be visible but only a certain amount of locations to be selectable.

The use case is customers enquiring about hearing aid appointments or wax removal appointments. Due to latest COVID restrictions some of the locations aren’t able to do these appointments so my client wants the form to still show all locations but 3 to be greyed out and not able to select it.

Not too sure if that is possible?

    Thanks
