We have a custom post type for uploading PDF ‘Flyers’ and use ACF fields to collect a title and a date and the file (upload). We do not need or want all the SEOPress stuff on the Add New Flyers page. They are excluded from search indexing and only stay published for a few days. The SEOPress clutters up the page and slows the page load. How can we just make it all just go away for that post type?

Hi,

when you register your custom post type, set the public argument to false.

This should do the trick.

The custom posts need to be visible to public, just no SEO stuff.

OK, so I suggest you to use this hook to exclude your post type key from SEOPress:

https://www.seopress.org/support/hooks/filter-post-types-list-used-by-seopress/

Edit line 3 with your CPT key and paste the code to your functions.php file of your child theme/theme.

This should do the trick.

Just add multiples lines like this (easiest way):
```
unset($post_types['my_custom_post_type']);
unset($post_types['my_custom_post_type']);
unset($post_types['my_custom_post_type']);
```
