In other words, you want to hide the login page. Sounds good unless some hacker finds it. Technically it can be implemented, but not in Cerber. Hiding vital parts or other critical stuff doesn’t make a website more secure. It’s a false sense of security. Even if you have two login pages, you have to protect them equally. Right? If you’re going to have equally protected login pages, I tell you that in terms of security it doesn’t make sense to have more than one.

No, I don’t want to hide the login page.

I just want to not be able to login with my admin username through the frontend.

Technically this is the same 🙂

Let me share a small secret here. A new feature will be implemented soon. It’s a smart 2FA. The plugin will monitor all attempts to log in and if something is changed (for instance using another login page) the plugin will require a confirmation to log in via email or a mobile notification. Unless the account owner has confirms changes the login process is being stopped.

    Thanks for the reply.

That’s great to hear, is there’s an ETA for this feature?

I’m using the “OceanWP” theme and an upcoming addon, that has a frontend modal login/register window, I got it early from the theme’s author.
From what he told me, it uses the standard WordPress login/register function.

Do you think your feature will work on that also? I can send it to you to test it if you like, since that theme has gotten pretty popular and many people use it.

    Please let me know.
    Thanks.

In a month. To be informed, you can subscribe to the newsletter: https://wpcerber.com/subscribe-newsletter/

The feature will be compatible with any theme and any plugin, if they coded correctly with no bugs. If something goes wrong, I ask you to send me that addon.

    That’s great, I’ll be waiting 🙂
