• Hi there,

I am trying to find a way to disable a permalink (attached to a category based text) that directs me to a blog post, instead of the page it should have linked to as per the custom hyperlink in the project’s edit page.

Currently the project edit page allows me to have a custom hyperlink (…/design) to cover the original permalink (…/project_cat/design). It works for the title of the project (page title), but not for the text that is the same as the category used to showcase that section on the homepage.

Someone can accidentally access that blog page rather than the actual page, simply by clicking the category text above the page title, as both texts are close to each other on the homepage.

    Example:
Category text (permalink) – Who are we?
Page title (custom hyperlink) – About Us

Any ideas on how to disable this original permalink and have the custom link alone active?

    Thanks

  • Hi @angelinasw

Can you share the link of the page?

And you can disable the links from the code. Just remove the anchor tag in the code for the category text. I can guide you to change in code if you share the link of the page.

    thank you

    Hi Rathod,

Thanks for the response, the site link is https://www.uvt.co.ke

Coding is quite alien to me, I must admit. Your guidance will be much appreciated.

    Warm Regards
