• I remember years ago that Jeff had said Plugin Organizer could be disabled on both desktop and mobile and it wouldn’t affect the plugin’s settings at all. Meaning it only has to work on the backend (in other words). Is that still true?

    Yes. You can disable Plugin organizer. It prevents itself from being disabled where it is needed on the admin as a way of stopping you from locking yourself out of the settings.
