Not really – the session variable is used in cart persistence from one page to the next. With that said, what’s the use case here? Why are you looking to disable that?
In the company where I have the hosting, they have an optimization plugin and gave me the following information.
“Our speed optimizer plugin doesn’t work because woocommerce sets session variable for each new visitor.
Our speed optimizer plugin doesn’t do the optimizations in such cases to avoid 504 errors.
Kindly note that fast cgi cache doesn’t work because of that cookie.
Is there a chance you can disable that functionality?”
