Yeah, I suppose it’s “technically” possible, but since the user isn’t logged in, it’s really hard to balance security. Ajax Edit Comments does allow for unlimited editing, but only if you’re a logged in user.
From my perspective, the shorter the time limit, the better.
You could fake this by setting the time limit to some very high number and then hiding the timer using CSS.
It’s highly doubtful I’ll ever include this as a feature as most people are happy with a 5 minute time limit from my experience (maintaining a comment editing plugin since 2007).
