    Hello

First off I really like your xml sitemap, it works exactly as I would like it to. However I’m using a custom theme with built in SEO meta titles, descriptions etc.
Is there a way to disable the Title Settings, so I can continue to use my custom meta titles, and use the xml sitemap?
At the moment, activating this plugin gives me a great site map, but removes my carefully put together meta.

    Thanks

Thank you for the compliment, I’m glad you like our sitemap.

SEO meta should always be done by the plugin as opposed to the theme, and rewriting the titles is one of the primary functions of the plugin, so we don’t have a great way of reliably not doing that.

There are two things you can try:

    1) In the Performance module, set “Force Rewrites” to disabled. Depending on your theme, this may do it. (A future update will likely change this functionality and remove this option, so it’s only a temporary solution at best.)

    2) Otherwise, the only other way is to use our API Filter Hook, aioseop_title and put in the title you want programatically.

Thank you. I hadn’t activated the Performance module, but disabling Force Rewrites did the trick. This is only an interim solution, so I’m not too worried about future updates.
    Many thanks.
