DIsable default “variation wishlisting” functionality

    By default the plugin is showing product wishlist button on shop page with Product ID but on product detail it switches to default variation with Variation ID. Because of that user can’t see if they wishlisted the whole product.
    I tried disabling saving variation in wishlist by, hook 'custom_yith_wcwl_reload_on_found_variation' & setting product id in shortcodes but it isn’t updating if user refreshes the pages. I also tried 'yith_wcwl_is_product_in_wishlist' no luck either. I appreciate any help. Thanks

    If we have not misunderstood, do you want to only be able to add the variable products to the wishlist and not the variations?

    Thanks for reply. Yes, or just the parent product or one variation. But on product detail page if user changes variation selection the heart icon also changes (variation ID), that’s why I set yith_wcwl_reload_on_found_variation to false but some bugs are occurring (mentioned in question)
