Disable/circumvent pop-up

-on smaller mobile screens the skype pop-up is LARGER THAN THE SCREEN, so buttons are inaccessible;
– having this box in english makes a multilingual site look bad;
– a user that clicks the skype button should have the Sype already downloaded, so I think the pop-up is “spam”.

Could this pop-up be disabled? I remember a skype link didn’t throw pop-ups, instead was opening skype chat instantly.
