Disabling Content Areas

    I want to disable the First and Second Feature Areas on the Homepage, as well as remove the Search/Archives/Categories from all pages. However, disable doesn’t seem to be an option on this theme.

    Any advice?

    Also, it says to make changes in the “Themes Option Panel” which appears to be non-existent.
