    Hi All,

I am evaluating GiveWP freely downloaded plugin and has a below question.
We are using “Legacy Donation Form” and we do not want to display “Continue Button” which is mandatory today.

There is no way to disable this buttong under “Form Template”. Please suggest if there is any other alternate way to disable “Continue Button” ?

    Hi @udaykr,

    Happy to help you!

The Continue Button is only added if you change the Display Option to Button, Modal, or Reveal. This button is necessary to show the form.

When you use the Button or Modal methods, the popup for donations is displayed. If you use the Reveal method, the button is necessary to display the form again. There is no way for it to work without this button because it’s used to execute a task.

What you could do is hide the button using CSS, but I don’t think it’s a good choice, because then the donors won’t be able to donate (they cannot click on the continue button).

What you can also do is use the All Fields option under Display Options, so all the fields are displayed and you do not have the Continue button.

Last but not least, you can change the continue button text to something that fits better your project, like “Donate Now”, “Donate”, “Join the movement”, something like this.

Please let us know if you have further questions on this or need any additional assistance!

    Hi Matheus Martins,

Thanks for your response. I followed seleting all fields option and now not seeing the Continue button.

I have another question (see below) related to this plugin.
Once user clicks on “Donate Now” button, it takes user to https://checkout.stripe.com/pay/cs_test_<session id>

Is it possible (or is there any option) to pass few parameters from previous page to this checkout page, so that we can display those parameters in this page where user enters the credit card details ?

    Regards,
    Uday

    Hi Matheus Martins,

    We have a below requirement
    1. user searches for a charity in our search page.
    2. Then user selects one of the search results and try to donate to that charity. 3. That is where we want to use GiveWP plugin to create Checkout session with stripe by passing the charity name and id user has selected.
    4. In the stripe checkout page, we display the charity name user has selected.
    5. The selected charity (same as displayed charity in the checkout page) and id will be used in the email we send to the donor at the end of successful donation.

Is this possible from the GiveWP plugin via configurationor do we need to customize the code to make it work for our above mentioned requirement ?

    Hi @udaykr,

Happy to know the first issue was solved! 🙂

The other questions are related to your second ticket here https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/passing-parameters-between-pages/, so I’ll get back to you about it there, so we can keep different issues in different threads, helping the WP community too. I’ll get back to you soon!

    Have a great day!

    Thank you @matheusfd.
When can I expect reply from you for this question.

This is the last and final issue we have before we purchase the plugin. Otherwise everything looks fine.
